Session Description

Twitter is a widely popular tool for developing a PLN, or Personal Learning Network. It’s a quick and easy way to connect with like minded educators, get ideas and resources, and participate in educational chats. This session will cover the basics of how to use Twitter, terminology, hashtags, and making connections. Leave with a great beginning to your personal learning network!

Kyle Pace, an Instructional Technology Coach, has worked with K-12 teachers and administrators to provide instructional technology professional development since 2004 with prior experience teaching in the elementary classroom. Kyle holds a Master of Arts degree in Education with an emphasis in Educational Technology. Kyle champions to support teaching and learning with meaningful technology integration using a multitude of technologies. As part of his ongoing commitment to professional growth, Kyle became a Google for Education Innovator in 2011. In 2013, Kyle was named as one of Education Week?s ?Leaders to Learn From? and joined the other honorees in Washington, D.C. to receive recognition from Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan. Most recently Kyle contributed to the newly published book The Educator's Guide to Creating Connections.
