Session Description

Google Search is so much more than typing in a word and looking up information. Information literacy is something that all teachers and students need to be skilled in. The ability to locate and curate quality information is critical for students. This session will cover how to find the information you’re looking for in a much more efficient manner with Google’s various search functions. Google search also puts huge amounts of helpful day to day information right at your fingertips. Come get lots of tips, tricks, and hone your Google search skills!

Kyle Pace

Kyle Pace, an Instructional Technology Coach, has worked with K-12 teachers and administrators to provide instructional technology professional development since 2004 with prior experience teaching in the elementary classroom. Kyle holds a Master of Arts degree in Education with an emphasis in Educational Technology. Kyle champions to support teaching and learning with meaningful technology integration using a multitude of technologies. As part of his ongoing commitment to professional growth, Kyle became a Google for Education Innovator in 2011. In 2013, Kyle was named as one of Education Week?s ?Leaders to Learn From? and joined the other honorees in Washington, D.C. to receive recognition from Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan. Most recently Kyle contributed to the newly published book The Educator's Guide to Creating Connections.
