The Ricoh Theta S camera takes 360° images and videos and is a must-have for creating Virtual Reality content viewable on Google Cardboard. Sylvia will take you through the steps of using this camera, including how to upload images to Google Maps/Street View and Google Photos, and how to share content on social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and YouTube. She will introduce you to some new social media sites designed specifically for sharing 360°/VR media (Theta360, Round.me and Spinnable.) There will be an opportunity to brainstorm ideas on how this camera can be used in class. Bring your Ricoh Theta S camera if you have one, or use this session to assess whether the hype is worth the money to buy one!
